BY TRAIN
The main train stations are Foggia and San Severo.  Both are well connected to reach Vieste via bus and local train.

The nearest airports are: Palese (Bari), Pescara and Capodichino (Naples), about 150-200 km from the Gargano and all offer public transport connections and car hire.

BY BUS
There are many bus connections to help you arrive in the Gargano departing from many cities: Rome, Naples, Pescara, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Turin, Venice, Modena, Parma, Padova, Milan.

BY CAR
To Reach Vieste leave the A14 (Bologna-Bari) at the Poggio Imperiale exit, then follow the Superstrada as far as Vico del Gargano (end of Superstrada), from there follow the signs for Vieste.

To Reach the Gargano leave the A16 (Napoli-Bari) at the Candela exit, then follow the Superstrada to Foggia (about 20 minutes); take the A14, and leave at the Poggio Imperiale exit, then follow the signs for Vieste.
